Light-Switch Compound Machine
Define a Problem
The purpose of the project is to be able to easily flip a switch. This will take away the monstrous effort that it usually takes, and will make the whole experience more entertaining. For this project to work it must be put up on top of a table.

The vex lab experience seemed very fun and somewhat easy. We liked it a lot more than inventor from the previous year. The project took us 2 days and the Weebly also took two days, it worked out very well. It worked right away. Over time we added things to it to make it more stable and efficient. There weren't really any setbacks. The only mistake we made was that we forgot to take pictures of us making the project. We had to disassemble the project and take pictures while we put it together. One skill I learned is to check the rubric before you start making the project. Also to sketch out your idea first to see how it works. While we were testing we added a lever system to the compound machine to make it more efficient. At first we had no lever and it still worked but it didn't work as well as we wanted it. We also screwed in metal parts to the side of the lever to keep it stable.
Present Solution
The first picture is on the first day of building, and we barely got down what we wanted in our project.
The second is the second day, and we made adjustments to the build.
The third is the final product before extra bracing.
The fourth is the fully completed, working machine.
